Between them, the staff in the Chelmsford office have more than forty years of travel industry experience and a wealth of knowledge.
The directors of North South Travel, who are also trustees of the NST Development Trust, provide their services on a pro bono basis. As much income as possible goes to the Trust.
• Jamila Gavin won the Whitbread children's prize for her novel Coram Boy. Her father Terence Khushal founded North South Travel.
• Clive Pickett has travelled widely for 45 years in commerce and as a charity Development Manager for several charities.
• Sean Rowe is a chartered accountant, specialising in small businesses.
• Richard Trillo is a travel writer, editor and PR consultant, and was formerly director of communications at Rough Guides.
• Nigel Watt MBE has wide experience in the voluntary sector, especially in Africa, and was formerly director of the Africa Centre.
North South Travel is always happy to receive offers of assistance with all aspects of the business from people with suitable experience.
The NST Development Trust is happy to receive applications from small charities and development organisations. Proposals can be posted or emailed to the North South Office in Chelmsford.
Succcessful applications are from organisations in which the Trust's funds can make a significant difference and where trustees can be sure the money is being used wisely. Applications are considered twice each year in January and June.
